Unlike most camping in Cornwall, there are no marked pitches and we limit the number of people on site so that there is plenty of room for everybody to stretch out. We also sell home produced lamb burgers and sausages from reception, as well as bags of wood so that you may experience the ultimate in cool camping – a campfire! For all your other needs, there is an excellent village shop in walking distance. We also have an on-site café, serving breakfast and evening food during the busy summer period, where you can also find WiFi.
NEW: For 2025, we will now be allowing a limited number of dogs to stay at the site. These dog friendly pitches will have their own designated camping field away from campers without dogs and will have access to our new fenced dog walking field and access out onto our farm trail. To bring your four-legged friend on a South Penquite holiday, please book one of our dog-friendly pitches. Please read full booking policy prior to booking.

What our recent campers had to say:
“This is one of my favourite campsites. Pitch anywhere, walk straight onto the moor, amazing showers and funky toilets. The whole site has been so well thought out and I really appreciate the eco credentials of the facilities. I also really appreciate that they charge per person – much fairer for a solo traveller like myself. If only all campsites were like this one. I can’t wait to come back.” – Tracy J.
